Garage Floor Cleaning in Orillia, ON

Automotive shop floors experience harsh work conditions on a daily basis. Oil, grease, diesel and gasoline are regularly spilled on the porous concrete, often leaving immense stains. This job was scheduled to wash away the year's worth of dirt and grim to kick 2023 off with a fresh start.

To start this job off, a full sweep of the garage was completed to remove dust, small automotive parts, and other larger debris from the work area. Secondly, a heavy degreaser was applied on the entire floors surface to release the contaminants from the concrete. After letting it dwell for some time, we began surface cleaning with hot water to further agitate the stains. While one operator completed this work, another would squeegee the excess water away to ensure water didn't pool in the floor's low spots. As the shop wasn't equipped with floor drains, this was an important part of the job. After applying a final rinse to wash away any remaining loose debris, the results were brought to light.
