Bracebridge Rona Building Wash

While travelling through Bracebridge from another job, we noticed this building was in dire need of being cleaned. We stopped in and asked who we could speak to in regards to cleaning the exterior and were immediately introduced to the owner. He asked if we were confident we could restore the siding, which was almost completely black. We informed him that the siding was covered in lichen and algae and we could certainly bring the siding back to its former self.

We chose to go during the night after business hours in order to avoid disrupting customers and normal operations. Using a process called soft washing we were able to apply our soap from the ground level and kill the organic growth on the building. Soft washing uses low pressure water and soap instead of the harsh impact the siding would receive from Pressure Washing. The exterior was painted wood and pressure would have blown the paint off the surface and damage the exterior. Once soap is applied we let it dwell on the building before rinsing off. This building took many applications, but eventually it was Shining Bright. The photos speak for themselves.
